Wonder of the Seas in the Bahamas
I had the privilege of attending the inaugural ceremony of the Wonder of the Seas in 2022. She is the biggest ship in the World, and brings bolder adventures and additions to the Oasis Class.
She has eight unique neighborhoods, including the new Suite Neighborhood. The suite rooms are spectacular! There are 3 Star Class suites to choose from. The Ultimate family room has its own slide to the lower floor, the two storey Royal suite includes a grand piano and kitchen and the AquaTheatre suites found at the aft of the ship has a large wraparound balcony. The suites are considered to be the top tier accommodation and come with the service of a Royal Genie.
The impressive Aqua Theatre has amped up surround sound that makes you feel part of the show. There is also a new kids play area- Playscape, along with the 2 Flowrider surf simulators, the Ultimate Abyss, 2 rock climbing walls and much more to keep kids and adults of all ages entertained.
In addition Wonder boasts of a new restaurant and bar - The Mason Jar and The Vue Bar on Deck 15. Although the Mason Jar is a speciality restaurant, you still have around 10 other complementary restaurants to eat at - no shortage of options or food!
Central park and it's name sake cafe is my favourite. The living wall, hundreds of plants and trees truly make it a serene place. Listening to the quartet and sipping a cup of tea or wine you forget that you are in the middle of the Ocean!
The sheer size and the grandeur is wondrous indeed!
